Morocco
A visit to Morocco yielded some of my best 2019 travel memories. I arrived in Tangier via a ferry which I boarded in Tarifa, a small port-side town in Spain near Gibraltar.
My cousin and I took our Christmas vacation together and made a family trip together. The funny thing is before that trip we had never ever had a vacation together. We had not seen each other for sometime and attended my sister's 65th birthday party in NYC. We travelled on the same flight to NY and back to DC and discussed taking a trip. Turns out, we were both looking to get out the USA around christimas time. So, on December 24th we boarded separate flights to Spain -- me to Barcelona and him to Madrid... where we met up and spent christmas.
We then went on an adventure, traveling by train to Seville and then to Tarifa by bus and then to Tangier by Ferry.
We traveled and enjoyed Morocco via car and train and while we wished we had more time we packed in quite alot. We each had a favorite city - his was Tangier and mine was by far Chefchaouen--The Blue Pearl. We got to Casablanca and Marrakesh, but like I said wished we had more time.
we ate and drank in the fool and culture of Morocco, we saw alot of the local people a t the market in Marrakesh and enjoyed an evening at Rick's Cafe in Casablanca.
But we both acknowledge that Chefchaoeun was the perfect day trip well worth every penny. These are just some of the images I captured while there. Please come back and visit as I will add more soon.
Thanks for visiting
