First Lady Michelle Obama - US Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots Program 2015
On December 9, 2015, First Lady Michelle Obama visited Joint Base Anacostia - Bolling (JBAB) to participate for the 7th year in the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. After brief remarks, Mrs. Obama assisted Sergeants Ricky Ali and Ada Canizaleztejada; Gunnery Sergeant Esteban Ceja Sr.; Master Gunnery Sergeant Kenneth Eaton and Corporal Jason Stolecki, and kids from the Washington Metropolitan Area sort hundreds of toys that will be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the Washington DC communities in which the campaign is conducted.
The Mission of the The US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, november ad December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
